Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies in the frontline and second-line treatment of patients with chronic-phase CML
- Review the use of hematologic, cytogenetic, and molecular responses to monitor patients with chronic-phase CML receiving tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy, and analyze strategies for overcoming resistance to TKIs in the management of patients with chronic-phase CML
- Evaluate how BCR-ABL mutations may influence the selection of tyrosine kinase inhibitors for the treatment of chronic-phase CML
- Assess data on investigational agents being studied for the treatment of chronic-phase CML

Program Overview
The VTB format offers learners in-depth comprehensive presentations and faculty discussions that address the identified educational needs in CML. This VTB activity will be led by a CML expert and will include active participation of multiple faculty members who will present data as well as provide practical commentary on a number of clinical management issues for patients with CML.
